For months I’ve been recipe testing and photographing the evidence and I’ve got nothing to show for it. Nope – not one single picture is safe for viewing. And now, here we are, my website needs photos and I have plenty of other uses for them too. What’s a girl to do??
Thankfully, this girl has a very talented photographer big sister to come to the rescue (jendoanphotography.com). In real life, Jen(ny) doesn’t typically photograph food. She specializes in kids, families and pregnancy photography. In my life, she’s always willing to do whatever she can to help out.
In late January, we set aside the first of what will be a number of days for photo-taking. Hopefully, the later days will actually be in the bakery. On this day, I baked up a storm in my kitchen while Jenny had a mini-studio setup in our living room. The day was long, but we got some nice shots, and then we ate the subject matter. Why wouldn’t a photographer add food to their artistic repertoire??
